Your day will begin at your hotel where a fully bilingual guide will greet you and place you in a beautiful and comfortable bus. After a short road trip you will arrive to the city of Puntarenas. If you are travelling from San José or the Pacific Central zone of Herradura – Jacó, you will stop briefly during this trip to enjoy a delicious Costa Rican style breakfast.
On board of the Manta Raya, a beautiful catamaran you will reach the paradisiac destination of Isla Tortuga, enjoying during the trip passing near seven of the beautiful islands in the Gulf of Nicoya. Once in Isla Tortuga, many palm trees and a superb environment will be waiting for you. Some of the most important features you will find on board the Manta Raya are the fresh water showers and a fully equipped bar, where you can enjoy the most delicious piña coladas, among other drinks. A spacious main room integrates with an amazing deck where you will find two swimming pools, filled with luxury and comfort at sea. The Manta Raya is also equipped with a ramp that allows you to set foot on the island directly onto the beach, offering more safety and comfort to you and the other passengers.
During this trip, the Manta Raya will sail near the islands of San Lucas, Gitana, Pan de Azúcar, Guayabo, Jesusita, Cedros and Negritos before reaching your final destination: Isla Tortuga. The Captain and his crew members are all experienced sailors and will share their love for Costa Rica, sunbathing, scuba diving, exploration, swimming, fine cuisine and relaxation to you and all the other passengers.
Once you set foot on Isla Tortuga, you will be able to walk along beautiful White sand beaches, swim in turquoise water and explore the surrounding marine environment; while at the same time, the crew will prepare a delicious lunch for you to enjoy in tropical tables placed under the shade of gorgeous white umbrellas. You will be able to enjoy this one day tour departing from Costa Rica’s Central Valley and it will take you approximately 8 hours to complete, or from the Central Pacific area (Herradura – Jacó) where you will take approximately 10 hours from the moment you depart to the moment you get back from the starting point.
